EIGHT DAYS OF NATURAL BEAUTY AND RELAXATION.
Awesome views of the volcano and lake; natural setting with beautiful flowers, birds, and Howler monkeys. The accommodations were great, including vistas from the all glass living area, exterior shower and waterfall, and delicious chef-prepared breakfasts and dinners at the Phoenix. The hosts were very helpful with suggested activities and arrangements. This secluded villa is on a mountain side overlooking the Arenal Volcano and lake, just stunning! You can stay in the peaceful setting or venture out to nearby attractions including zip lines, National Park, thermal spas, horseback riding, restaurants, and the towns of El Castillo and La Fortuna. - Tom
GREAT VACATION SPOT.
The views at Birdsong are amazing! It was very romantic to be staying in the heart of the jungle with my wife sharing panoramic views of the Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal. We rented an ATV and rode to the zip lines that were close by. We also went on some great hikes to see waterfalls, sat in the hot springs, and went horseback riding at the ranch just up the road. The "typical" Costa Rican breakfast we had each morning at the Phoenix was delicious. - Trey
AMAZING PLACE TO STAY. GREAT VIEWS. GREAT BREAKFAST.
This place is awesome - large, comfortable, incredible 270-degree views of jungle, lake, and volcano. This is not like a hotel experience - this is not even quite a B&B experience - it's magical, like nothing I have experienced before! The villa is way off the beaten path, so it is very quiet (except for the birds and howler monkeys). You really know you're not at home anymore, and I find it hard to leave from here. -Lisa
FABULOUS. TOTAL TRANQUILITY. SPECTACULAR VIEWS. Birdsong is a MUST - a spectacular house perched high in the hills with panoramic views over the volcano and the lake. It is hard to imagine a better location. The views are quite breathtaking. If you want to get away from it all then this is the place to go - and yet it's only 30 mins from La Fortuna. - David
IT'S A SHRANGRI-LA.
Birdsong is a little piece of heaven, a little Shangri-La! It's been such a dream to wake up to the most amazing view from this charming place. Thank you for a most wonderful experience! Ed and I will be back. - Cheryl
